UK military participates in many and varied operations

We promote British defence interests in Denmark, including developing links between the British and Danish militaries. As founding members of NATO we have enjoyed a strong and special relationship for decades and are the partner of choice for training and military experience.

Our primary role is to promote public awareness and support for our respective military personnel serving in Afghanistan.

Additionally we engage in Defence Diplomacy activitites which range from hosting VIPs, ship visits, promoting the sharing of knowledge and experience via networking events, joint meetings and trade shows as well as attending liberation/memorial events and other public engagements.

We promote and encourage mutual training and exchange officers between our two countries. We are of a similar mindset as to the advantages of the comprehensive approach in operations, the transformation of NATO and work to seek consensus on future change, interoperability and capability building.
