Defence
The Defence Attaché, Wing Commander Dick MacCormac, is the personal representative in Denmark of the British Chief of Defence staff.
The roles of the Defence Section are:
To deliver a Defence Diplomacy Programme consistent with Her Majesty's Government activities to prevent conflict and promote stability world-wide.
To act as an interface between UK and Danish defence organisations and establishments.
To provide operational and military-political liaison, advice and assistance.
To assist UK defence companies who wish to do business in Denmark.
To provide support to miscellaneous military activities such as Royal Navy ship visits, military exercises and commemoration ceremonies.
